Robert Martinez, Managing Director

Mr. Martinez, a former military officer turned corporate entrepreneur. Robert Martinez was born in Odessa, TX, eighth of a family of nine children. Robert graduated from West Point where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering in 1992.  Immediately after graduation he was commissioned in the Army as an officer in the Air Defense Artillery branch. His assignments included: One combat tour as Platoon Leader in Saudi Arabia, One tour of duty in South Korea as an Executive Officer and Battalion Staff Engineer, and two command assignments as Battery Commander of Alpha and then Delta Battery, 1-43 ADA Regiment, at Ft. Bliss, TX.  Robert earned the Paratrooper Badge, the Overseas Service Ribbon, the Defense Service Medal, the Kuwait Liberation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, the Army Commendation Medal, and the Meritorious Service Medal.  He  left the military in 1998 at the rank of Captain.

After serving his country Robert returned to West Texas and worked as a Project Engineer in San Angelo for about six months before being relocated to Houston where he worked in international business development for Conoco and simultaneously earned his MBA from Rice University in 2003. Afterward, Robert was recruited by Cintas where he managed last mile logistics businesses. In 2007, Robert returned to the Permian Basin where he worked in various Executive-level and consulting functions with Kinder Morgan, Exterran, Brinderson, and others, as well as serving as Adjunct Professor in the UTPB School of Business from 2008 to 2009.  In 2013, he founded oilfield electrical construction company, Midessa Electric, LLC where he previously served as President and CEO.

Douglas C. Anderson, Managing Director

Mr. Douglas Anderson, a former military officer turned corporate financier. Mr. Anderson served in the U.S. Marine Corps, including the elite Marine Reconnaissance Battalion. Prior to his work in corporate finance and held a Top-Secret clearance while serving operationally in the U.S. State Department at American Embassies overseas as well as at the U.N. in New York.  Mr. Anderson was formally trained on Wall Street as an Underwriter. During his career in the Fortune 500 Financial Services Sector, he rose to management positions with underwriting authority.  In 1998, Mr. Anderson started his own investment banking firm where he sourced, structured, executed, monitored or exited dozens of  transactions.  He has been exposed or involved in most aspects of corporate finance including, underwriting, private equity, venture capital, mergers, acquisitions, mutual fund development and management, board development, business plan development, strategic planning, road show and promotion, IPO and ICO. He has raised hundreds of millions in private equity and worked on transactions exceeding a billion. He has been interviewed and broadcast nationally and internationally, many times as an expert both on NASDAQ and at the NYSE.

Mr. Anderson’s earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Washington and postgraduate graduate education includes executive education from Harvard in Finance and Texas A&M in Agriculture Science. While in public service he completed several courses through the USMC and US Department of State to include Infantry Training School, Combatant Divers Course, Multiple Survival Training, and U.S. Intelligence School Sierra Vista, AZ. Mr. Anderson has served as an Advisor, Director, public company CEO and public company Board Director over his career.
